Personnel

The band currently comprises around 30 players from all walks of life, ages and musical backgrounds. We have a very healthy mix of new players and also some that have given long service to the band. One of our trombone players, Norman Hill, has recently celebrated 50 years as a member of the band. Several of our players are still studying for GCSE's and A levels.

Musical Director

Percy Mann BA(Mus), ARCM, FCV, NABBC

Percy has held the position of Director of Music since 1987. He previously studied at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall and served for 28 years in army bands.
After leaving the army, Percy played professionally and started to teach music. He currently teaches pupils both privately and for the Wiltshire Education Authority as well as conducting various local groups.
